Excessive discharge of toxic dyes is detrimental to ecological system and human health. Therefore, an effective photocatalyst must be designed and developed to degrade dyes from wastewater. Herein, a novel one-dimensional (1D) flower-like recoverable ZnFe2O4/C/MnO2/BiOI magnetic composite photocatalyst was synthesized via electrospinning technique combined with hydrothermal method. The photocatalytic activities of composite photocatalyst were evaluated by degrading methyl orange (MO) and Rhodamine B (RhB) under simulated light irradiation. The efficiency of ZnFe2O4/C/MnO2/BiOI photocatalyst in visible light for 150 min reached 91% (MO) and 120 min reached 94% (RhB). Moreover, the degradation rate of MO still remained 78% after five cycles. The design of 1D magnetic flower-like composite provided a new strategy for preparing photocatalysts possessing excellent photocatalytic efficiency and cyclic stability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Angiogenesis is crucial for successful bone defect repair. Co‐transplanting Bone Marrow Stromal Cells (BMSCs) and Endothelial Cells (ECs) has shown promise for vascular augmentation, but it face challenges in hostile tissue microenvironments, including poor cell survival and limited efficacy. In this study, the mitochondria of human BMSCs are isolated and transplanted to BMSCs from the same batch and passage number (BMSCsmito). The transplanted mitochondria significantly boosted the ability of BMSCsmito‐ECs to promote angiogenesis, as assessed by in vitro tube formation and spheroid sprouting assays, as well as in vivo transplantation experiments in balb/c mouse and SD rat models. The Dll4‐Notch1 signaling pathway is found to play a key role in BMSCsmito‐induced endothelial tube formation. Co‐transplanting BMSCsmito with ECs in a rat cranial bone defect significantly improves functional vascular network formation, and improve bone repair outcomes. These findings thus highlight that mitochondrial transplantation, by acting through the DLL4‐Notch1 signaling pathway, represents a promising therapeutic strategy for enhancing angiogenesis and improving bone repair. Hence, mitochondrial transplantation to BMSCS as a therapeutic approach for promoting angiogenesis offers valuable insights and holds much promise for innovative regenerative medicine therapies. Microwave hybrid heating (MHH) is widely used for rapid heating and short-time reaction in the food industry and scientific fields. MHH processes also include the implementation of lightweight metals joints such as Ni-based alloys. The advantages of using the MHH technique are providing sufficient joint between similar or dissimilar lightweight metals, which reduces the time needed to melt and reduces defects on the joint surface. However, for the MHH applications, major parameter settings and design models of heating have not been extensively explored. Ni-based alloy powder (approximately 9e10%) exhibits low ductility because of its poor solidifying property and high melting point at room temperature. This phenomenon has caused some challenges for weldability in various manufacturing processes. In order to attain the melting point in a shorter time, researchers had implemented microwave hybrid heating (MHH) techniques by improving the rapid heating rate, mechanical characteristics (tensile strength and hardness), and microstructures properties by using carbon-based (absorber) and silicon-based materials (insulator). This paper aims to review the joint of Ni-based alloys on steel-based materials by using the MHH approach. In this review, the main structures of application (cavity design), design of heat application (heat materials), and various crucial parameters settings were discussed. It can be noticed that charcoal and graphite powder were frequently used in the MHH system due to its better effectiveness. Most of the literatures used the microwave frequency between 2.00 e 2.45 GHz, whereby the microwave power was set between 800 e 900-Watts with exposure time between 300 to 720 s to observe high penetration depth for the joining of Ni-based alloy powder. Thin properties and efficient absorption performance are two significant factors in the practical application of electromagnetic wave absorbers, but still face considerable conflicts. Three-dimensional (3D) Carbon Nanotube (CNTs) interpenetrating network structure has been proved to be an effective strategy to obtain high performance electromagnetic waves (EMW) absorption materials. We report a 3D sea cucumber-like nanomaterial that uses pyrolysis to self-grow CNTs on the surface of bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). FeCo bimetallic MOF were successfully prepared and CNTs were grown after the pyrolysis of bimetallic MOF. The excellent EMW absorption performance of FeCo/CNTs composites was attributed to its multiple absorption mechanism. Electromagnetic analysis showed that the 3D structure increases the multiple reflections of the EMW and the CNT produces sufficient polarization effects. The interconnection of CNTs provides more opportunities for electron leap and electron hopping. When the matched thickness is 1.38 mm, the performance of EMW absorption properties showed a minimum reflection loss of − 59.24 dB at 17.10 GHz. Moreover, the ultrathin FeCo/CNTs composites could reach an effective absorption of 10.96 GHz (60.9% of 2–18 GHz) showing an ultra-wide absorption. This work provided options for the modification of MOFs derivatives as excellent candidates for EMW absorbers. • FeCo multi MOF were successfully prepared and self-grown CNTs after pyrolysis. • The 3D structure can extend the transmission path of electromagnetic waves and increase the attenuation effect. • The excellentEMWabsorption performance is mainly attributed to magnetoelectric synergistic effect between FeCo and CNTs.
