Colorectal cancer (CRC) is globally ranked as the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women. There is an urgent need for novel biomarkers to facilitate early diagnosis and enhance patient care, thereby improving treatment response and reducing mortality rates. Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) is essential for controlling the anti-tumor immune response since it is a hub for several oncogenic signaling pathways. In the tumor environment, STAT3 is widely overactivated in both malignant and non-cancerous cells. It is involved in suppressing the expression of critical immune activation regulators and encouraging the synthesis of immunosuppressive substances. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), a kind of non-coding RNA, are critical for CRC development, apoptosis, and metastasis because they influence important signaling pathways such as STAT3 signaling and contribute to gene regulation at the epigenetic, transcriptional, and post-transcriptional levels. Moreover, lncRNAs have a significant role in modifying the TME and control the expression of important immunological checkpoints, such as PD-L1. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory roles of lncRNAs is crucial for identifying diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers for CRC. The long non-coding RNA Growth Arrest-Specific 5 (GAS5) is pivotal in modulating key signaling pathways by functioning as a molecular sponge for microRNAs (miRNAs). Stem cell therapy represents a transformative frontier in medical science, offering promising avenues for revolutionizing cancer treatment and advancing our understanding of neurobiology. This review explores innovative approaches in stem cell therapy that have the potential to reshape clinical practices and therapeutic outcomes in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. In this dynamic and intriguing realm of cancer research, recent years witnessed a surge in attention toward understanding the intricate role of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). These cells, capable of either suppressing or promoting tumors across diverse experimental models, have been a focal point in the exploration of exosome-based therapies. Exosomes released by MSCs have played a pivotal role, in unraveling the nuances of paracrine signaling and its profound impact on cancer development. Recent studies have revealed the complex nature of MSC-derived exosomes, showcasing both protumor and antitumor effects. Despite their multifaceted involvement in tumor growth, these exosomes show significant promise in influencing both tumor development and chemosensitivity, acting as a pivotal factor that increases stem cells' potential for medicinal use. Endogenous MSCs, primarily originating from the bone marrow, exhibited a unique migratory response to damaged tissue sites. The genetic modification of stem cells, including MSCs, opened avenues for the precise delivery of therapeutic payloads in the milieu around the tumor (TME). Stem cell therapy offers groundbreaking potential for treating neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders by regenerating damaged tissues and modulating immune responses. Nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC) represents the most prevalent form of skin cancer globally, with basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) being the most common types. The search for effective chemopreventive and therapeutic agents has led to the exploration of natural compounds, among which resveratrol (RES), a polyphenolic phytoalexin found in grapes, berries, peanuts, and red wine, has garnered significant attention. This comprehensive review aims to elucidate the effects of RES on NMSC, focusing on its mechanisms of action, efficacy in preclinical studies, and potential as a chemopreventive and therapeutic agent. RES exhibits promising chemopreventive and antineoplastic capabilities against NMSC through various mechanisms, including the induction of apoptosis, inhibition of cell proliferation, modulation of oxidative stress, and anti-inflammatory activities. Studies have demonstrated that RES can significantly enhance the effectiveness of traditional chemotherapeutic agents, such as 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), by inhibiting cellular proliferation and inducing apoptosis in cancerous cells. Furthermore, resveratrol's antioxidant properties may mitigate the impact of reactive oxygen species (ROS) triggered by UV exposure, thus reducing DNA damage and mutations associated with skin cancer development. In vitro and in vivo experiments have shown that RES can effectively hinder the growth and spread of various tumor cell types, including human cutaneous SCC A431 cells, and induce apoptosis. The development of advanced delivery systems, such as nanostructured lipid carriers and liposomes, has been recognized for their potential to enhance the therapeutic effects of RES, particularly its anticancer properties. In conclusion, RES presents a viable candidate for the prevention and treatment of NMSC, owing to its multifaceted mechanisms of action, including its ability to regulate oxidative stress, trigger apoptosis, and inhibit proliferation. The EGF receptors (EGFRs) signaling pathway is essential for tumorigenesis and progression of cancer. Emerging evidence suggests that miRNAs are essential regulators of EGF signaling, influencing various pathway components and tumor behavior. This article discusses the underlying mechanisms and clinical implications of miRNA-mediated regulation of EGF signaling in cancer. miRNAs utilize multiple mechanisms to exert their regulatory effects on EGF signaling. They can target EGF ligands, including EGF and TGF-directly, inhibiting their expression and secretion. In addition, miRNAs can modulate EGF signaling indirectly by targeting EGF receptors, downstream signaling molecules, and transcription factors implicated in regulating the EGF pathway. These miRNAs can disrupt the delicate equilibrium of EGF signaling, resulting in aberrant activation and fostering tumor cell proliferation, survival, angiogenesis, and metastasis. The dysregulation of the expression of specific miRNAs has been linked to clinical outcomes in numerous types of cancer. Specific profiles of miRNA expression have been identified as prognostic markers, reflecting tumor characteristics, invasiveness, metastatic potential, and therapeutic response. These miRNAs can serve as potential therapeutic targets for interventions that modulate EGF signaling and improve patient outcomes. Understanding the intricate relationship between miRNAs and EGF signaling in cancer can transform cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. The identification of specific miRNAs involved in the regulation of the EGF pathway opens the door to the development of targeted therapies and personalized medicine approaches. In the face of global competition, it is imperative to conduct research on organizational identification in order to maximize employee commitment and organizational loyalty. Understanding how employees identify with their organizations can lead to improved productivity and retention rates. Organizational identification (OI) refers to an individual's cognitive and affective connection to an organization. It exerts a significant impact on employee attitudes, behaviors, and job performance. It indicates an employee's emotional bond, connectivity, and recognition with their company. This study aims to examine the impact of OI using bibliometric analysis and a literature review. Despite the topic's wide use and coverage, the literature lacks quantitative data for bibliographic element analysis, making this study unique. This research fills that knowledge gap. We selected 227 research publications from the ABDC's 2022 Quality Journals list, with A*, A, and B category journals for 2013 and 2022. The research methodologies employed encompassed trend analysis, scientific mapping, bibliographic coupling, co-occurrence analysis, and so on. Also, this study provides in-depth thematic analysis, content analysis, and a theoretical framework that contributes to the originality of the research. Our research findings offer bibliographic insights that enhance the study of literature. The study found that top journals are more interested in this topic. "Journal of Business Ethics" is very productive, whereas "Academy of Management Journal" holds the most influence. The study also highlights research gaps through quantitative and qualitative research. The study concluded by proposing further investigation and examining the consequences of its findings. Background: Newly graduated registered nurses leaving the nursing profession in the early stages of their career have enormous financial and time implications for nursing organizations and affect the quality of nursing care. Objective: To identify the factors influencing newly graduated registered nurses' intention to leave the nursing profession over the past 10 years. Methods: The framework developed by Whittemore and Knafl was used to conduct this integrative review. An electronic search was conducted for English articles to identify research studies published between 2011-2022 using the following databases of PubMed, MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and Scopus. Eligible publications were critically reviewed and scored using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program Checklist and the Center for Evidence-Based Management appraisal. Results: Twenty-one studies were analyzed. The main factors affecting newly graduated registered nurses' intention to leave the nursing profession included demographic factors (age, educational level, year of experience, professional title, employment status, health status, shift, hospital location and size), supervisor and peer support, challenges in the workplace, cognitive and affective response to work, work environment (collegial nurse-physician relations, insufficient staffing level, person-work environment fit), gender stereotypes, autonomous motivation, role models, and resilience. Conclusions: The factors affecting newly graduated registered nurses' intention to leave the nursing profession are multifaceted and should receive continuous attention from nurse managers. The aim of the present article purposefully explores how industry 4.0 may alter conventional methods of administration by performance of supply chain. Nowadays, the business activities/processes have been raised and all are directly associated with industrial revolution. Industry 4.0 acts as a go-between for improved supply chain efficiency and more traditional forms of logistics management. Discovering the transformative effects of industry 4.0 on supply chain management by reading on, however, SCM practices, this study considers the questioner-based data from September 2021 to March 2022 for China economy. Interestingly, the findings of structural equation model (SEM) describe the supportive response of revolution (the fourth industrial revolution) to supply chain management in the previously described field. The consequences of this research argue that the supportive role of technological progress in industrial revolution brings efficient supply chain management. Moreover, the performance indicators under the supply chain work well due to significant progress in industry 4.0. In concluding remarks, such types of advanced technologies serve as an intermediate between the management and practices of supply chain. However, the results provide light on the basic principles behind the success. In addition, these technologies make it possible to significantly improve the performance by allowing process unification, mechanization, and automation and introducing innovative analytic capabilities and supply chain operations including procurement, production, and inventory management, and marketing may work together more efficiently. Some of these processes include marketing, inventory management, and procurement. These improvements are attainable through the implementation of innovative scientific capabilities. Background and Aim: Healthcare providers have a high workload due to different work shifts, so they are always exposed to increasing sleep disorders, decreasing resilience, and thus decreasing job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental workload, job burnout, job satisfaction, resilience, and sleep disorders among nurses in 2021. Methods: Research tools included demographic information questionnaire, NASA-TLX questionnaire, Maslach job burnout questionnaire (MBI), Minnesota job satisfaction questionnaire (MSQ), Petersburg sleep quality questionnaire, and resilience questionnaire (CD. RSC). The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 and AMOS version 24 software. Results: In this study, 171 women (62.4%) and 103 men (37.6%) were examined. Based on the fit indices (χ2/df = 1.650, RMSEA = 0.049, TLI = 0.906, CFI = 0.912), a good fit was observed between the model and the data. The results indicate that mental workload has a positive and significant effect on job burnout (P<0.001, β = 0.202). Also, the negative effect of mental workload on resilience (P<0.001, β = 0.334) and job satisfaction (P<0.001, β = 0.356) have been accepted. The results confirm the positive effect of mental workload on sleep disorders (β = 0.166, P<0.05). In addition, the results showed that job burnout has a positive effect on sleep disorders (β = 0.153, P<0.05). Conclusion: It is suggested that with proper planning, training, and management of the factors investigated in this study, it is possible to play an important role in increasing the health of nurses and consequently improving their services to patients. Digital logistics techniques are important for business applications that contribute to economic growth. The modern supply chain or logistics seeks to implement a large-scale smart infrastructure incorporating data, physical objects, information, products, and business progressions. The business applications are utilized various intelligent techniques to maximize the logistic process. However, the logistic process suffers due to transportation costs, quality, and multinational transportation. These factors frequently affect the region's economic growth. In addition, most cities are located in remote areas that receive improper logistic support, which minimizes business growth. So, this work analyzes the impact of digital logistics on the region's economy. The Yangtze River economic belt region, which includes almost 11 cities, is chosen for analysis. The gathered information is processed by Dynamic Stochastic Equilibrium with Statistical Analysis Modelling (DSE-SAM), which predicts the correlation and influence of digital logistics on economic development. Here, the judgment matrix is constructed to reduce the difficulties of data standardization and normalization processes. Then entropy model and statistical correlation analysis are utilized to improve the overall impact analysis process. Finally, the developed DSE-SAM based created system efficiency is compared with the other economic models, such as Spatial Durbin Model (SDM), Coupling Coordination Degree Model (CCDM), and Collaborative Degree Model (CDM). The results of the suggested DSE-SAM model achieve a high correlation of urbanization, logistics, and ecology in the Yangtze River economic belt region compared to other regions. Introduction This study aimed to investigate the effect of organizational bullying on turnover intention with the mediating role of burnout and moderating role of Compulsory citizenship behavior. Material and Method this is Quantitative research and applied descriptive-survey study in which the statistical population includes 1132 registered and contract registered nurses of ImamReza Hospital in Mashhad. Cochran's formula was used to determine the sample size, based on this, 287 of them were selected as statistical sample with the random sampling method. To collect data, the Inarsen et al.'s (2009) organizational bullying questionnaire, Memon et al.'s turnover intention (2014), Copenhagen burnout (2005), and Vigoda-gadot (2007) Compulsory citizenship behavior questionnaires and For analyzing them, Structural equation modeling with partial least squares approach and smart-PLS software were used. Results Data analysis using structural equation modeling showed that the direct effect of organizational bullying on turnover intention is 0.524 and significant (p<0.05). The direct effect of organizational bullying on burnout is 0.752 and significant (p<0.05). The direct effect of burnout on organizational bullying is 0.492 and significant (p<0.05). Also, burnout mediates the relationship between organizational bullying and turnover intention (t=3.863 and β =0.371).In addition, Compulsory citizenship behavior moderates the relationship between organizational bullying and turnover intention. Conclusion The result of this research showed that burnout plays a mediating role in the relationship between organizational bullying and nurses' turnover intention. Based on this, it is suggested to through identifying the causes of nurses' burnout and reducing it's occurrence, The rate of their turnover intention should also be reduced. Over the past three decades, researchers have extensively examined the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis. Despite their early focus on the ecological impacts of anthropogenic development, associated conclusions differ and often conflict. In this study, we conducted a state-of-the-art review of this topic and shed light on the methodological challenges that the literature attempted to overcome so far. Since China is going through structural economic changes and environmental reforms, we relied on this illustrative case and developed an augmented-EKC framework to investigate whether this hypothesis holds between export product diversification and environmental pollution, stratifying by carbon energy content: renewable (Model 1) and fossil energy (Model 2). Quarterly data are collected over the most available and recent period (i.e., 1990Q1-2018Q4) and computed by applying the Quadratic Match-Sum Method (QMS) on annual series. Besides, per capita income and foreign direct investments are included as additional factors to the baseline models specifications. The empirical analysis comprises the Clemente–Montanes–Reyes unit root test with structural break and additive outlier, the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds test for cointegration, the Granger causality test, and dynamic (DOLS) and fully modified OLS (FMOLS) estimators, followed by robustness checks confirming the stability of the coefficients exhibited in the two autoregressive settings. For both models, empirical results failed to support the existence of an inverted-U-shaped relationship among export product diversification and carbon release from fuel combustion in China. Also, as income grows, low-carbon resources seem improving export diversification and vice versa. We studied Hmong medicinal plant knowledge in Thailand, focusing on knowledge transmission and retention. Sixteen herbalist specialists and 210 non-herbalist-specialist informants were interviewed. Hmong medicinal plant knowledge is increasingly being threatened. The non-specialist informants used only a fraction of the medicinal plants that they knew were useful. Many species had not been used for a long time and some had disappeared from the study areas. This is particularly true for younger generations who had higher levels of formal education, literacy skill, and who used more internet and social media. The useful passing of traditional knowledge from the older generations to the next may soon be lost. We suggest that the cross-generational learning of traditional knowledge should be integrated into educational strategies to reduce the risk of knowledge erosion and improve knowledge retention. The purpose of the study lies in explaining and measuring Supply Chain relationships and their effect on supply chain resilience and supply chain performance in retail/service organizations. The study is also empirically explaining relationships while employing commitment–trust theory. The empirical research uses 144 responses, which were collected through the use of survey methods from retail firms. The questionnaire was adapted from various published sources. Purposive sampling was used as the technique for data collection. Hypotheses were analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that supply chain relationships significantly influence supply chain performance. SC agility was found as the significant enabler for Resilience. Cooperation plays a vital role in enhancing agility, resilience, and SC performance. Resilience shows the insignificant impact on the performance of supply chain and integration share insignificant effect on cooperation. Retail supply chain managers need to create a transparent atmosphere where all the supply chain partners can exchange formal and informal messages and provide opportunities through such platforms that enable them to share risk management-related expertise and strengthen their productive relationships. Organizations should promote relationships for the long-lasting continuity of their operations. The research is unique for its findings and its contribution toward the supply chain resilience as well as risk management domain and also for contributing in the retail sector as it is one of the first empirical studies to evaluate the relational exchanges and risk management from the perspective of retailers in a developing nation. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the "potential psycho-emotional impacts of digital emojis on instant messaging applications users." STUDY DESIGN: Survey research. PLACE & DURATION: Public and private work and educational institutions of Rawalpindi Islamabad, from 1st March to 10th August 2016. METHODOLOGY: A questionnaire pertaining to psychological dependence related to the usage of emojis was designed. A total of 97 individuals participated in the survey, randomly selected from the work and educational institutes of Rawalpindi Islamabad, after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. Percentage response of the participants to the questionnaire was compared. Chi square test was applied to analyze the association of time, gender, and age to the participants' response. RESULTS: Ninety percent of the participants rated emoji message more meaningful as compared to traditional texting. Forty-two percent considered emojis as strong, 17.5% as a very strong measure for emotion expression. Reflecting the psycho emotional dependency on emojis, 46% reported moderate, 21% strong and 18.5 very strong effects of mere presence or absence of emojis in digital messages. On missing an expected emoji from a sender, 47% claimed to suffer moderate level of negative mood effects while 6% reported very strong level of negative effect. Most of assessed responses in the study were independent of age, time spent on digital messaging and gender influence. However, emojis effectiveness for emotion expression, specific emoji expectation, and mood swings by usage or non usage of emojis revealed significant association to age, gender or duration of usage on chi square test.
