Phosphorus (P) is necessary for nitrogen fixation in the root nodules of soybeans, a symbiotic process whereby plants support bacterial nitrogen fixation to obtain nitrogen needed for plant growth. Nitrogen accumulation, quantity, weight, specific nitrogenase activity (SNA) and acetylene reduction activity (ARA) of root soybean nodules were analyzed, using a broadly targeted metabolomics method incorporating liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) to study the effects of P level (1, 11, 31, 61 mg/L denoted by P1, P11, P31, P61) on the types and abundance of various metabolites and on the expression of associated metabolic pathways in soybean root nodules. Nitrogen accumulation, quantity, weight, SNA and ARA of root nodules were inhibited by P stress. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis indicated that root nodules responded to P stress by increasing the number of amino acids and derivatives. Down-regulation of ABA, phosphorylcholine, and D-glucose 6-phosphate affected carotenoid biosynthesis, glycerophospholipid metabolism and sugar metabolism which inhibited nodule nitrogen fixation under P stress. More flavonoids were involved in metabolic processes in soybean root nodules under P stress that regulated the nodulation and nitrogen fixation. The pathway ascorbate and aldarate metabolism, and associated metabolites, were involved in the adaptation of the symbiotic soybean root nodule system to P starvation. How does China shape a global information order, regarding the norms and institutions that manage cyberspace? Cyber norms are the preferred tool to govern cyberspace given the rapidity of technological change. China's advances 'cyber sovereignty' (wangluo zhuquan) norms to reorient internet governance to the United Nations and specialist state-led international fora and emphasise the dominant position of the state regarding information management. The paper uses a critical case study of a foundational cyber norm: the protection of the public core of the internet, which focuses on 'safeguarding the functionality and integrity of the core logical and physical infrastructure of the internet from unwarranted state interventions' (Broeders 2017a). Using descriptive research drawing from primary and secondary sources in Chinese and English languages, I highlight China's use of rhetorical adaptation – a strategy and set of tactics that simultaneously modify norm content while also deflecting and reducing critiques of norm obstructionism to modify cyber norms. China's use of rhetorical adaptation renovates norm content by centring the state as the public core of the internet that must be protected – in short internet infrastructure security is in service to state security. The two members of the cytoplasmic FMR1‐interacting protein family, CYFIP1 and CYFIP2, are evolutionarily conserved multifunctional proteins whose defects are associated with distinct types of brain disorders. Even with high sequence homology between CYFIP1 and CYFIP2, several lines of evidence indicate their different functions in the brain; however, the underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown. Here, we performed reciprocal immunoprecipitation experiments using CYFIP1‐2 × Myc and CYFIP2‐3 × Flag knock‐in mice and found that CYFIP1 and CYFIP2 are not significantly co‐immunoprecipitated with each other in the knock‐in brains compared with negative control wild‐type (WT) brains. Moreover, CYFIP1 and CYFIP2 showed different size distributions by size‐exclusion chromatography of WT mouse brains. Specifically, mass spectrometry‐based analysis of CYFIP1‐2 × Myc knock‐in brains identified 131 proteins in the CYFIP1 interactome. Comparison of the CYFIP1 interactome with the previously identified brain region‐ and age‐matched CYFIP2 interactome, consisting of 140 proteins, revealed only eight common proteins. Investigations using single‐cell RNA‐sequencing databases suggested non‐neuronal cell‐ and neuron‐enriched expression of Cyfip1 and Cyfip2, respectively. At the protein level, CYFIP1 was detected in both neurons and astrocytes, while CYFIP2 was detected only in neurons, suggesting the predominant expression of CYFIP1 in astrocytes. Bioinformatic characterization of the CYFIP1 interactome, and co‐expression analysis of Cyfip1 with astrocytic genes, commonly linked CYFIP1 with focal adhesion proteins. Immunocytochemical analysis and proximity ligation assay suggested partial co‐localization of CYFIP1 and focal adhesion proteins in cultured astrocytes. Together, these results suggest a CYFIP1‐specific association with astrocytic focal adhesion, which may contribute to the different brain functions and dysfunctions of CYFIP1 and CYFIP2. Microwave hybrid heating (MHH) is widely used for rapid heating and short-time reaction in the food industry and scientific fields. MHH processes also include the implementation of lightweight metals joints such as Ni-based alloys. The advantages of using the MHH technique are providing sufficient joint between similar or dissimilar lightweight metals, which reduces the time needed to melt and reduces defects on the joint surface. However, for the MHH applications, major parameter settings and design models of heating have not been extensively explored. Ni-based alloy powder (approximately 9e10%) exhibits low ductility because of its poor solidifying property and high melting point at room temperature. This phenomenon has caused some challenges for weldability in various manufacturing processes. In order to attain the melting point in a shorter time, researchers had implemented microwave hybrid heating (MHH) techniques by improving the rapid heating rate, mechanical characteristics (tensile strength and hardness), and microstructures properties by using carbon-based (absorber) and silicon-based materials (insulator). This paper aims to review the joint of Ni-based alloys on steel-based materials by using the MHH approach. In this review, the main structures of application (cavity design), design of heat application (heat materials), and various crucial parameters settings were discussed. It can be noticed that charcoal and graphite powder were frequently used in the MHH system due to its better effectiveness. Most of the literatures used the microwave frequency between 2.00 e 2.45 GHz, whereby the microwave power was set between 800 e 900-Watts with exposure time between 300 to 720 s to observe high penetration depth for the joining of Ni-based alloy powder. A new type of explosive ink formulation that can be quickly cured was prepared with unsaturated polyester as binder, styrene as active monomer, 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenylphosphine oxide as photoinitiator, and hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) as the main explosive. Then the explosive ink direct writing technology was used to charge the micro-sized energetic devices, the curing mechanism of the explosive ink was discussed, and the microstructure, safety performance and explosive transfer performance of the explosive ink molded samples were tested and analyzed. Results indicate that the composite material has a fast curing molding speed, its hardness can reach 2H within 8 min. The crystal form of CL-20 in the molded sample is still e type. The CL-20 based UV-curing explosive ink formulation has good compatibility, its apparent activation energy is increased by about 3.5 kJ/mol. The composite presents a significant reduction in impact sensitivity and its characteristic drop height can reach 39.8 cm, which is about 3 times higher than the raw material. When the line width of charge is 1.0 mm, the critical thickness of the explosion can reach 0.015 mm, and the explosion velocity is 7129 m/s when the charge density is 1.612 g/cm3. Activated carbon is a highly porous material that is gaining interest nowadays in different sectors due to its strong adsorption capacity. Although it can be manufactured from very diverse feedstock, vegetable carbon and coal have been the most widely used raw materials. The increasing market demand and the encouragement of practices for the transition to the circular economy have promoted the use of wastes for the manufacturing of activated carbon. A significant part of the activated carbon currently in the market is produced from coconut shells, but wastes from a variety of sources are the subject of intense research. The number and variety of agricultural wastes tested as precursors of activated carbon is enormous, especially due to their high lignocellulose content. Both deletions and duplications of the SH3 and multiple ankyrin repeat domains 3 (SHANK3) gene, encoding excitatory postsynaptic scaffolds, are causally associated with various brain disorders, suggesting that proper Shank3 dosage is critical for normal brain development and function. In addition to its well-established synaptic functions, recent studies have suggested that Shank3 can also affect gene expression in the nucleus. However, it has not been investigated whether there are a group of genes whose directional expression is regulated in a Shank3 dosage-dependent manner (i.e. showing opposite changes in expression following Shank3 reduction and overexpression). This is an important issue to be examined for better understanding why neuronal development and function are sensitive to Shank3 dosage, and how much transcriptional changes contribute to neuronal phenotypes affected by Shank3 dosage. To examine this, we performed transcriptome analyses on the striatum of Shank3 heterozygous and knock-out mice, which identified three and 17 differentially expressed genes, respectively. We then compared the results to those of our previous striatal transcriptome analysis of Shank3 overexpressing mice and identified 31 candidate genes showing directional expression changes in a Shank3 dosage-dependent manner. However, overall, their Shank3 dosage-dependent fold changes were very subtle (average of absolute log2(fold change) was 0.139). Meanwhile, the gene set enrichment analyses of the striatal transcriptome suggested that Shank3 dosage may affect anchoring junction-related functions. Taken together, these results suggest that Shank3 dosage minimally affects directional gene expression changes in the mouse striatum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
