This manuscript explores the topological and optical properties of a Passeriformes bird feather. Inside the feather, the layers of keratin and melanin are responsible for light reflection, transmission, and absorption; notably, the miniature composition of melanosome barbules plays a crucial role in its reflective properties. We adopted a multilayer interference model to investigate light propagation throughout the Passeriformes plume. As a result, we obtained all necessary simulated results, such as resonance band, efficiency, and electromagnetic radiation patterns of the Passeriformes plume, and they were verified with the experimental results reported in the literature study regarding light reflectivity through its internal geometry. Interestingly, we discovered that the interior structure of the Passeriformes plume functions similarly to a UV reflector antenna.

This study examined the relationship between youth health insurance status, insurance type (public versus private), and youths’ unmet health care needs. A secondary analysis was conducted using data from the 2016 National Survey of Children’s Health, a nationally representative, cross-sectional survey of U.S. youth. The sample included data from caregivers of 40,723 Hispanic, non-Hispanic black, and non-Hispanic white youth (0-17 years old) and was 49% female. Mplus 8.2 was used and statistical models accounted for the complex survey design. Using unweighted and weighted descriptive statistics and weighted probit regression models, we found that youth without health insurance were significantly more likely to have unmet health care needs compared to those with either public or private health insurance. We further found no statistically significant difference in unmet needs between youth with public and private health insurance. Our findings suggest that increased access to health insurance coverage, regardless of insurance type, may be an important policy focus when addressing youths’ unmet health care needs. Our findings can be used to guide future social work advocacy regarding health insurance policy.

It has been shown that competing molecular interactions of atypical protein kinase C isoforms regulate neuronal polarity. For instance, silencing one particular isoform known as protein kinase M- ζ or overexpression of a second isoform known as protein kinase C- λ in hippocampal neurons alters neuronal polarity, resulting in neurons with extra axons. In contrast, the overexpression of protein kinase M- ζ prevents axon specification. These data suggest that antagonistic competition between PKC isoforms could contribute to the development of polarity and axon specification. Here, an excitatory and inhibitory non-linear network model is employed to describe neuronal polarity under different conditions. The model shifts the balance of excitation and inhibition to replicate a variety of scenarios during axon outgrowth, which are then compared with experimental results.

Lung cancer has posed a significant challenge to global health, and related study has been a hot topic in oncology. This article focuses on metabolic reprogramming of lung cancer cells, a process to adapt to energy demands and biosynthetic needs, supporting the proliferation and development of tumor cells. In this study, the latest studies on lung cancer tumor metabolism were reviewed, including the impact of metabolic products and metabolic enzymes on the occurrence and development of lung cancer, as well as the progress in the field of lung cancer treatment targeting relevant metabolic pathways. Aging is an inevitable aspect of life, but age-related diseases are not an inseparable part of the aging process, and their risk can be reduced through a healthy lifestyle. Vitamin K has a broader impact than just blood clotting, and yet it remains overshadowed by other vitamins and underestimated by both doctors and consumers. Vitamin K (VK) is a multifunctional micronutrient with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, whose deficiency may cause age-related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases and osteoporosis. There is a growing body of evidence supporting the role of vitamin K as a protective nutrient in aging and inflammation. This review summarizes the current knowledge regarding the molecular aspects of the protective role of vitamin K in aging and age-related diseases and its clinical implications. This study explored the experiences of South African teachers who relocated to teach at schools in the Gulf region (Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait). Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used with 25 educational professionals. Research was guided by the Expectancy-Value Theory and Herzberg's Motivational Theory in order to situate the findings. Participants revealed that the inability to earn a reasonable salary and lack of professional growth opportunities were two of the main reasons that they left South Africa. Education researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders will benefit from the understanding of how to effectively meet the needs of South African teachers in order to stop further brain drain after qualified teachers graduate; how to acknowledge the challenges of teaching in South Africa in university curricula; and how to encourage recent graduates to stay in South Africa in order to take advantage skills and education. Metabolism reprogramming (MR) is one of the top ten hallmarks of malignant tumors. The aberrant activation of MR has been recognized as a critical contributory factor to the malignant progression of solid tumors. Moreover, various long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are implicated in the aberrant activation of MR in solid tumor cells. Therefore, in this review, we mainly focus on summarizing the functional relevance and molecular mechanistic underpinnings of lncRNAs in modulating MR of solid tumors by targeting glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, affecting mitochondrial function, and regulating interactions between tumor and non-tumor cells in tumor microenvironment. Besides, we also underscore the potential for constructing lncRNAs-centered tumor metabolic regulation networks and developing novel anti-tumor strategies by targeting lncRNAs and abnormal MR. Simple Summary: Numerous studies have demonstrated the key rate-limiting enzymes of the FAO (fatty acid oxidation) pathway, represented by the CPT family, play important roles in tumor proliferation, migration, invasion, stemness, apoptosis, chemoresistance, and metabolic stress. However, the current research on the CPT family focuses more on CPT1A and CPT1B, while relatively few studies have been conducted on CPT1C and CPT2 in tumors. Therefore, we look at molecular structural properties of the CPT family, the roles they play in tumorigenesis and development, the target drugs, and the possible regulatory roles of CPTs in energy metabolism reprogramming to help understand the current state of CPT family research and to search for new therapeutic strategies. Along with abnormalities in glucose metabolism, disturbances in the balance of lipid catabolism and synthesis have emerged as a new area of cancer metabolism that needs to be studied in depth. Disturbances in lipid metabolic homeostasis, represented by fatty acid oxidation (FAO) imbalance, leading to activation of pro-cancer signals and abnormalities in the expression and activity of related metabolically critical rate-limiting enzymes, have become an important part of metabolic remodeling in cancer. The FAO process is a metabolic pathway that facilitates the breakdown of fatty acids into CO2 and H2O and releases large amounts of energy in the body under aerobic conditions. More and more studies have shown that FAO provides an important energy supply for the development of cancer cells. At the same time, the CPT family, including carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 (CPT1) and carnitine palmitoyltransferase 2 (CPT2), are key rate-limiting enzymes for FAO that exert a pivotal influence on the genesis and progression of neoplastic growth. Therefore, we look at molecular structural properties of the CPT family, the roles they play in tumorigenesis and development, the target drugs, and the possible regulatory roles of CPTs in energy metabolism reprogramming to help understand the current state of CPT family research and to search for new therapeutic strategies. Computational intelligence is used to create artificially intelligent systems with the ability to learn, adapt, and solve problems. Learners' computational abilities can be improved with the help of Cognitive Neuroscience techniques. Computational intelligence refers to the ability of a learner based on the complex operations of the brain in the four relevant dimensions: Visual (V), Aural (A), Kinematic (K), and Reading/Writing (R/W). Our proposed framework consists of electroencephalogram (EEG) data acquisition, signal extraction, and EEG signal categorization to assess students' cognitive learning abilities. Our proposed approach uses an EEG device equipped with a microprocessor, a Think Gear (TGAM) EEG sensor, and a PCB of 16 dry electrodes. The EEG device and the remote processing device are connected by Bluetooth. The EEG signal provides the students with neurofeedback on their cognitive learning capability. The feedback obtained through the learning process will be endowing to improvise computational intelligence. The statistical derivative, Pearson Co-efficient, is used to find the correlation among the derived attributes. The attributes considered are the learner's gender, stream, age, and geographical region. The results obtained highlight that gender, stream, and age have no correlation with the detectable learning index, and the most accurate learners are kinesthetic ones. Bi-modal learners, who can maintain focus while reading and using their kinematic abilities, had the secondhighest learning capacity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Lung cancer (LC) is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide. LC can be classified into small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with the last subtype accounting for approximately 85% of all diagnosed lung cancer cases. Despite the existence of different types of treatment for this disease, the development of resistance to therapies and tumor recurrence in patients have maintained the need to find new therapeutic options to combat this pathology, where natural products stand out as an attractive source for this search. Nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) is the main metabolite extracted from the Larrea tridentata plant and has been shown to have different biological activities, including anticancer activity. In this study, H1975, H1299, and A549 cell lines were treated with NDGA, and its effect on cell viability, proliferation, and metabolism was evaluated using a resazurin reduction assay, incorporation of BrdU, and ki-67 gene expression and glucose uptake measurement, respectively. In addition, the combination of NDGA with clinical chemotherapeutics was investigated using an MTT assay and Combenefit software (version 2.02). The results showed that NDGA decreases the viability and proliferation of NSCLC cells and differentially modulates the expression of genes associated with different metabolic pathways. For example, the LDH gene expression decreased in all cell lines analyzed. However, GLUT3 gene expression increased after 24 h of treatment. The expression of the HIF-1 gene decreased early in the H1299 and A549 cell lines. In addition, the combination of NDGA with three chemotherapeutics (carboplatin, gemcitabine, and taxol) shows a synergic pattern in the decrease of cell viability on the H1299 cell line. In summary, this research provides new evidence about the role of NDGA in lung cancer. This review compares cancer's hidden metabolic changes to dark matter and dark energy in the universe, which are mysterious and often ignored. Generative AI has drawn significant attention from stakeholders in higher education. As it introduces new opportunities for personalized learning and tutoring support, it simultaneously poses challenges to academic integrity and leads to ethical issues. Consequently, governing responsible AI usage within higher education institutions (HEIs) becomes increasingly important. Leading universities have already published guidelines on Generative AI, with most attempting to embrace this technology responsibly. This study provides a new perspective by focusing on strategies for responsible AI governance as demonstrated in these guidelines. Through a case study of 14 prestigious universities in the United States, we identified the multi-unit governance of AI, the role-specific governance of AI, and the academic characteristics of AI governance from their AI guidelines. The strengths and potential limitations of these strategies and characteristics are discussed. The findings offer practical implications for guiding responsible AI usage in HEIs and beyond. Background: The mutations of oncogenic epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is an important cause of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) malignance. It has been knowm that metabolic reprogramming is an important hallmark of malignant tumors, and purine metabolism is a key metabolic pathway for tumor progression and drug resistance, but its relationship with the EGFR-mutant LUAD is unclear. Methods: Metabolic reprogramming was studied through capillary electrophoresis-time of flight mass spectrometry (CE-TOF/MS)-based metabolic profiling analysis. Cell proliferation in vitro was evaluated by EdU staining and cell cycle assay. Tumorigenicity in vivo was tested by subcutaneous tumor formation experiment in nude mice. The binding of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1α) and hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase 1 (HPRT1) was detected by DNA pull‑down assay and Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays. HIF-1α, HPRT1, DNA damage and cell apoptosis related genes were examined by western blot. In addition, RNA sequencing, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics analysis were performed. Results: We found that mutated EGFR (muEGFR) upregulates HPRT1 to promote purine metabolism and tumorigenesis of EGFR-mutant LUAD. Mechanistically, muEGFR increases HIF-1α expression through protein stability. Meanwhile, up-regulated HIF-1α bound to the promoter of HPRT1 and transcriptionally activates HPRT1 expression, enhancing purine metabolism to maintain rapid tumor cell proliferation in EGFR-mutant LUAD. Further, gefitinib inhibited the synthesis of purine nucleotides, and HPRT1 inhibition increased the sensitivity of gefitinib to EGFR-mutant LUAD. Conclusions: Our study reveals that muEGFR-HIF-1α-HPRT1 axis plays a key role in EGFR-mutant LUAD and provides a new strategy-inhibiting purine metabolism for treating EGFR-mutant LUAD. Objective: One of the main features of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is increased adipose tissue, which can result in hormonal disturbances. In the present study, we aimed to investigate which indicator of obesity could better associate with hormonal disturbances in PCOS women. Methods: In this cross-sectional analysis, women with PCOS were included according to the Rotterdam criteria. Fasting blood samples were analyzed for biochemical, metabolic, and hormonal parameters. Anthropometric measures comprised body composition indices (assessed by bioelectric impedance analysis [BIA]), waist circumference, body mass index (BMI), and waist-to-height ratio (WHtR). Linear regression modeling was used to assess the association between anthropometric indices and hormonal imbalance, adjusted for age, mensuration status, and the homeostasis model assessment-estimated insulin resistance (HOMA-IR). Receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curves were utilized to ascertain the sensitivity, specificity, and optimal cut-off points of various anthropometric indices in identifying hyperandrogenism. Results: A total of 129 PCOS women with a median (interquartile range [IQR]) age of 32.0 (23.0–32.0) years and a median BMI of 26.3 (23.00-29.70) kg/m2 were enrolled. In the adjusted linear regression model, BMI (β = 0.053, P < 0.001), waist circumference (β = 0.021, P = 0.001), WHtR (β = 3.325, P = 0.002), total fat mass (β = 0.021, P = 0.002), trunk fat mass (β = 0.038, P = 0.006), and leg fat mass (β = 0.045, P = 0.004) were positively associated with free androgen index (FAI). In addition, BMI (β=−0.017, P = 0.003), waist circumference (β=−0.008, P = 0.002), WHtR (β=−1.167, P = 0.004), total fat mass (β=−0.008, P=0.003), trunk fat mass (β=−0.017, P=0.001), and leg fat mass (β=−0.018, P=0.004) were negatively associated with the serum level of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). WHtR showed the greatest area under the curve (AUC) value (AUC = 0.676, P = 0.001) for identifying hyperandrogenism (FAI ≥ 4.97 or total testosterone ≥ 0.7 ng/mL) in PCOS women with corresponding sensitivity of 87.30% and specificity of 39.70%. Viruses are obligate intracellular parasites, and they exploit the cellular pathways and resources of their respective host cells to survive and successfully multiply. The strategies of viruses concerning how to take advantage of the metabolic capabilities of host cells for their own replication can vary considerably. The most common metabolic alterations triggered by viruses affect the central carbon metabolism of infected host cells, in particular glycolysis, the pentose phosphate pathway, and the tricarboxylic acid cycle. The upregulation of these processes is aimed to increase the supply of nucleotides, amino acids, and lipids since these metabolic products are crucial for efficient viral proliferation. In detail, however, this manipulation may affect multiple sites and regulatory mechanisms of host-cell metabolism, depending not only on the specific viruses but also on the type of infected host cells. In this review, we report metabolic situations and reprogramming in different human host cells, tissues, and organs that are favorable for acute and persistent SARS-CoV-2 infection. Background: Magnolol (MAG) exhibits hepatoprotective activity, however, whether and how MAG regulates the gut microbiota to alleviate fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome (FLHS) remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated the mechanism of MAG in FLHS laying hens with an emphasis on alterations in the gut–liver axis. We randomly divided 540 56-week-old Hy-line white laying hens with FLSH into 4 groups. The birds were fed a high-fat low-protein (HFLP) diet (CON) or HELP diets supplemented with 200, 400, and 600 mg/kg of MAG (M1, M2, and M3, respectively) for 9 weeks. Results: Magnolol supplementation increased the laying rate and ameliorated hepatic damage and dysfunction by regulating lipid metabolism, improving intestinal barrier function, and shaping the gut microbiota and tryptophan metabolic profiles. Dietary MAG supplementation downregulated the expression of lipid synthesis genes and upregulated the expression of lipid transport genes at varying degrees. The intestinal barrier function was improved by 200 and 400 mg/kg of MAG supplementation, as evidenced by the increased villus height and mRNA expression of tight junction related genes. Microbiological profile information revealed that MAG changed the gut microbiota, especially by elevating the abundances of Lactobacillus, Faecalibacterium, and Butyricicoccus. Moreover, non-targeted metabolomic analysis showed that MAG significantly promoted tryptophan metabolites, which was positively correlated with the MAG-enriched gut microbiota. The increased tryptophan metabolites could activate aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) and relieved hepatic inflammation and immune response evidenced by the downregulated the gene expression levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the liver. The fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) experiments further confirmed that the hepatoprotective effect is likely mediated by MAG-altered gut microbiota and their metabolites. Conclusions: Magnolol can be an outstanding supplement for the prevention and mitigation of FLHS in laying hens by positively regulating lipid synthesis and transport metabolism, improving the intestinal barrier function, and relieving hepatic inflammation by reshaping the gut microbiota and metabolite profiles through gut microbiota-indole metabolite-hepatic AhR crosstalk. These findings elucidate the mechanisms by which MAG alleviates FLHS and provide a promising method for preventing liver diseases by modulating gut microbiota and their metabolites. This research arose from a moment when one of the author's interviewees said, "Wait, where was I?" Through 60–90 minutes, in-depth phone interviews, shared highly detailed accounts of their personal stories of entering underemployment in South Korea. However, the first six interviewees talked about many different topics during their interviews, and confused the chronological sequences of multiple episodes. The interviewer recognized these instances as emergent chaotic moments, so she decided to incorporate various methods into her interviews. Among the many elicitation strategies that can be employed in qualitative interviewing, the author applied timeline elicitation to more accurately document their life events. Timeline elicitation is useful for extracting narratives of individual journeys and delineating the meaning of specific events. This technique proved the most effective strategy for minimizing confusions and successfully completing the interviews. This study used comparative analysis to assess the transcripts of two different groups (with/without applying timeline drawing elicitation), and presents findings showing their different reactions to dealing with the transition of time. This study demonstrated the potential of visual timeline approaches to reflect and illustrate the complexity of women participants' experiences of underemployment. Moreover, the efficacy of this timeline drawing elicitation method will be critically discussed, along with its limitations within the context of innovative qualitative methodologies. Dynamic difficulty adjustment of serious games is a field of research seeking to assist participants attain an ideal learning state. To achieve this, the difficulty of a game is adjusted in real-time to approach the capabilities of the player. Many dynamic difficulty adjustment systems only measure a few variables, often solely player performance, and adjust a limited number of in-game aspects. Little research has sought to ascertain if measuring a combination of cognitive load with measures of performance in real-time leads to a more effective dynamic difficulty adjustment system. Building on research which defined 'mental efficiency', we conducted a novel experiment to address this gap. This is achieved by comparing two versions of a surveillance training serious game; one a linear approach and the other with our unique cognitive load and performance-based dynamic difficulty adjustment system. Our experiment included n=52 participants (26 per treatment group). The experiment demonstrates that our approach achieved similar performance outcomes with lower cognitive load, in less time than the linear difficulty approach. The extant literature aimed at characterizing attentional capability in autistics has presented inconsistent findings. This inconsistency and uncertainty may be the product of different theoretical and methodological approaches used to define attention in autism. In the current study, we investigate whether the allocation of attentional resources to task demands, and attention resource capacity, differs between autistics with no comorbid attention-deficit diagnosis (n = 55) and age-matched neurotypicals (n = 55). We compared differences in capacity and the allocation of resources by manipulating attentional load in a Multiple Object-Tracking (MOT) task, a robust, versatile, and ecological measure of selective, sustained, and distributed attention. While autistics demonstrated lower MOT performance, this difference disappeared when we accounted for fluid reasoning intelligence. Additionally, the similarity in the trend of MOT performance at increasing levels of attentional load between autistics and neurotypicals suggests no differences in the allocation of attentional resources to task demands. Taken together, our study suggests that higher-order cognitive abilities, such as intelligence, should be considered when characterizing attention across the autistic population in research. Similarly, our findings highlight the importance of considering cognitive competence when assessing attentional capabilities in autistic individuals, which could have significant implications for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and support. Background: The present study aims to investigate the potential impact of eight sessions of Multiple Object Tracking (MOT) training on the executive function in basketball players. The purpose of the study was primarily to observe the effects of MOT training with and without feedback on the executive function of basketball players. Methods: A sample of fifty-eight participants was selected from college students enrolled in a university basketball special selection class. The participants were divided into three equal groups. The first group received MOT training with instant feedback and was called feedback group, the second group received MOT training without instant feedback and was called no feedback group, and the third group did not receive any intervention and was called control group. Results: After eight sessions of MOT training, feedback group demonstrated the best performance in the Go/No-go task and the 3-back task. After eight sessions of MOT training, there was no significant difference in test scores on the Stroop task between the feedback and no feedback groups. There was also no significant difference in test scores between the feedback and no feedback groups on the 2-back task after eight sessions of MOT training. The findings of this study suggest that MOT training can effectively enhance the executive function of basketball players. Conclusions: MOT training was found to enhance the executive function of basketball players, irrespective of whether they received instant feedback. Background: Insulin resistance and/or insulin secretion dysfunction are crucial causes of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Although some studies have suggested potential roles for vitamins D and K in glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity, there is limited and inconclusive research on their levels in T2DM patients and their relationship with blood glucose levels and insulin resistance. Additionally, there is a lack of large-scale clinical trials and comprehensive studies investigating the combined effects of vitamins D and K on T2DM. Methods: A total of 195 participants with newly diagnosed T2DM were included in the research group, while 180 volunteers undergoing physical examinations in our hospital served as the control group. Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) was estimated using the glucose-oxidase technique, and fasting serum insulin (FINS) was evaluated by radioimmunoassay. FPG and FINS were used to calculate the homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR). Serum vitamin D levels were measured using 25-hydroxyvitamin D, and vitamin K levels were evaluated using phylloquinone (VK1) and menaquinone (VK2) via ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was performed to assess the predictive value of these vitamins for T2DM. Results: Circulating levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25.95 ± 10.42 ng/mL), VK1 (1.24 ± 0.89 ng/mL), and VK2 (0.2 ± 0.21 ng/mL) in T2DM patients were significantly lower than in the control group (37.46 ± 13.95 ng/mL for 25- hydroxyvitamin D, 1.99 ± 1.39 ng/mL for VK1, and 0.33 ± 0.22 ng/mL for VK2; p<0.001 for all comparisons). ROC analysis indicated that 25-hydroxyvitamin D, VK1, and VK2 could predict the occurrence of T2DM, with AUC values of 0.75, 0.69, and 0.71, respectively. In T2DM patients, 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels were positively correlated with VK1 (r=0.43, p<0.001) and VK2 (r=0.40, p<0.001) levels. FPG and HOMA-IR in T2DM patients were negatively correlated with circulating levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (r=-0.57, p<0.001), VK1 (r=-0.44, p<0.001), and VK2 (r=-0.36, p<0.001).Conclusion: Circulating levels of vitamins D and K are lower in T2DM patients and show significant correlations with blood glucose levels and insulin resistance. These findings suggest that measurements of 25-hydroxyvitamin D, VK1, and VK2 could have predictive value for T2DM, highlighting the potential roles of these vitamins in T2DM management. The purpose was to determine the impact of both cognitive constraint and neuromuscular fatigue on landing biomechanics in healthy and chronic ankle instability (CAI) participants. Twenty-three male volunteers (13 Control and 10 CAI) performed a single-leg landing task before and immediately after a fatiguing exercise with and without cognitive constraints. Ground Reaction Force (GRF) and Time to Stabilization (TTS) were determined at landing in vertical, anteroposterior (ap) and mediolateral (ml) axes using a force plate. Three-dimensional movements of the hip, knee and ankle were recorded during landing using a motion capture system. Exercise-induced fatigue decreased ankle plantar flexion and inversion and increased knee flexion. Neuromuscular fatigue decreased vertical GRF and increased ml GRF and ap TTS. Cognitive constraint decreased ankle internal rotation and increased knee and hip flexion during the flight phase of landing. Cognitive constraint increased ml GRF and TTS in all three axes. No interaction between factors (group, fatigue, cognitive) were observed. Fatigue and cognitive constraint induced greater knee and hip flexion, revealing higher proximal control during landing. Ankle kinematic suggests a protective strategy in response to fatigue and cognitive constraints. Finally, these two constraints impair dynamic stability that could increase the risk of ankle sprain.
