Although the ideology of pro-work conservatism prevails in East Asia, scholars have largely overlooked its discursive construction in media communication from a linguistic perspective. This paper examines the discursive construction of pro-work conservatism in 3,000 Weibo posts with the most "likes" in response to China's implementation of the three-child policy. Using the sociosemantic approach as an analytic framework, the paper finds that three dominant themes underpin the discourse of pro-work conservatism: women's sacrifice in the labour market, the high cost of raising children, and gender-essentialist norms. This discourse is articulated in the posts via a number of discursive strategies, including authorization, morality, and rationalisation. This paper sheds light on the influence of the one-child policy and the awakening of feminist consciousness in the new era and highlights the implications of language use in shaping gender-role ideologies to influence public perception. In order to explore the impact of economic forest development on soil and provide scientific basis for sustainable development of regional economic forest and prevention of soil degradation, three representative economic forests, navel orange forest, tea forest and bamboo forest, were selected in the hilly area of South Jiangxi Province. The changes of soil aggregates and organic carbon under different plant planting conditions were studied by comparing the conifer-broadleaf forest with no disturbance. The results indicated that the soil aggregates of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and tea forest are mainly large aggregates and intermediate aggregates, while those of navel orange forest and bamboo forest are mainly intermediate aggregates and micro aggregates. The MWD and GMD of soil aggregates in conifer-broadleaf forest and tea forest were significantly higher than those of navel orange forest and bamboo forest, the WSA0.25 of conifer-broadleaf forest was significantly higher than that of navel orange forest (86.17%), bamboo forest (84.01%) and tea forest (81.86%), the PAD of conifer-broadleaf forest was significantly lower than that of navel orange forest (4.58%), bamboo forest (12.44%) and tea forest (12.70%). The organic carbon content of soil aggregates in coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and tea forest was significantly higher than that in navel orange forest and bamboo forest. When conifer-broadleaf forest is developed into economic forest, it will lead to fragmentation of large aggregates, hinder the accumulation of soil organic carbon, and increase the risk of soil erosion. Although the organic carbon content, MWD and GMD of tea forest under artificial management are similar to those of conifer-broadleaf forest, but WSA0.25 and PAD are poor, indicating that the soil and water loss risk of tea forest is still high, so in the evaluation of soil and water loss risk of economic forest, only one soil aggregate stability index can not be considered. In the evolving landscape of information dissemination, the importance of social media has become crucial. This is especially apparent in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, where we observed social media integration into different parts of daily life, yielding myriad impacts. The present study investigates the effects of social media on the communication dependency of Emirati individuals who engage with these platforms, further leading to communication with friends, family, and professional connections in the post-pandemic era. Based on the media dependency theory, this research gathered data from 385 respondents that were further analyzed by using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results showed that Emirati users widely rely on social media for communication and interactivity. It is further found that social media use is significantly linked to communication with friends and families among the study respondents. Finally, the use of social media for professional communication also remained significantly related, indicating social media as a potential source of communication among Emiratis in the post-pandemic era. Thus, the broader agreement remained towards the role of social media as an agent to sustain socialization even after the disease outbreak. It is concluded that as we progress, both individuals and organizations must adopt the potential benefits of these platforms while also effectively managing the challenges they bring. Traditional breeding strategies mainly focus on the evaluation of trait performance, but pay less attention to the changing genetic background. A comprehensive understanding of the genetic diversity of germplasms is crucial for the deliberate improvement of specific traits. A collection of 154 highland rice varieties were collected as the initial genetic resource in our breeding program to improve the pathogen resistance and eating and cooking qualities. These varieties were analyzed using a whole-genome SNP array and were clustered into three groups. Further analysis revealed that the favorable alleles of pathogen resistance genes are mostly absent in our collected varieties. However, it showed that most varieties possess favorable alleles of Waxy (Wx) and ALKALI DEGENERATION (ALK), which are able to enhance the eating and cooking qualities. Moreover, only about one fifth of all varieties harbors favorable the allele of fragrance gene Betainealdehyde dehydrogenase (BADH2). Together, these results give an overall view of the genetic constitution of the target traits, which provide useful information for future genetic improvement in breeding practices. Social media have opened up new opportunities for the creation of innovative public relations strategies focused on establishing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders on the basis of meaningful dialogue. Consideration of the interrelation between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and public relations highlights new areas for exploration and engagement. Both the dialogical and semantic perspectives reveal the performative and conversational aspects of social media. In general, both the linguistic panorama of CSR and digital media as part of a PR strategy open new possibilities for a dialogical, interactive, meaningful relationship strategy for corporate image management. Based on the linguistic approach to CSR and the Communication Management Approach, this paper explores the linguistic use of Twitter as a primary dialogical strategy to effectively enhance interactive dialogue-based relationships with the stakeholders of the top 50 companies in the energy sector based on tweet data from 2016. Semantic analysis was conducted by advanced text mining and clustering techniques on 3042 tweets monitored in 2017 that contained the leading CSR-related hashtags and keywords. The results demonstrated that the top energy companies apply a defensive and symbolic perspective, mainly for branding purposes. The corporate discourse dominates over a meaningful conversational strategy to foster interaction with stakeholders around sustainability issues on Twitter. The study reveals a homogenized interrelation between CSR, social media, and public relations. The results reveal a tendency for isomorphy in the communication models applied by the companies in the energy sector. Furthermore, similarities in semantics and thus strong tendencies to mutually mimic dialogical strategies are also observed. The semantic narrative built around the brand indicates a limited orientation towards CSR and sustainability. As such, it does not contribute to the creation of a dialogical interaction and meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders on Twitter, in the high-risk sector represented by the energy industry.
