Introduction. Maintaining the health in military personnel is impossible without hygienic training, education and sanitary education, for which it is necessary to conduct research that allows updating the knowledge base and ways to bring them to the military. Materials and methods. In February – April 2022, a cross-sectional medical and social study was carried out by interviewing military personnel serving under a contract. The volume of the sample population was 352 people. The effect of independent factors on the targets was evaluated by regression analysis using the method of constructing polynomial logistic regression. Results. Information about reasons of the most common diseases among military personnel in the region was not important for 39.8%, and information about prevention these diseases – for 33% of respondents. When asked about the frequency of hygienic education classes, the 55.9% of respondents noted the frequency of 1 once a month and less often. The most convenient form of communicating information in the hygienic education system, 33.8% of respondents chose a lecture format, another 31.3% indicated a way to disseminate information through the Internet site. For 45.2% of respondents, information about respiratory diseases was most relevant at the time of the survey. The importance of knowledge about reasons of the most common diseases among military personnel was influenced by marital status, monthly income, number of children, frequency of alcohol consumption, presence of chronic diseases, and weight of military personnel. The assessment of the importance of knowledge about the prevention of these diseases was significantly influenced by military rank and frequency of alcohol consumption. Limitations. The volume of a sample of 352 contracted servicemen serving in the Severodvinsk garrison; climatogeographic features of the region; cross-sectional nature of the study. Conclusion. The obtained data make it possible to justify the need to modernize the existing system of hygienic education, including creating specialized Internet resources, and using modern marketing achievements to create the necessary motivation for military personnel. The existing nature of planning training in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation requires its correction, taking into account the importance of the issue of forming a healthy behaviour among military personnel.

The article summarizes the results of a 15-year operation of the Yamal-202 telecommunication spacecraft in geostationary orbit. The review of using electrical rocket engines in spacecraft in domestic and foreign projects is made. The questions of methodology for developing and testing the electrical rocket propulsion system for the Yamal-200 spacecraft are considered including features of the RSC Energia stand base, specific features of the equipment and methodology for filling tanks with working fluid such as xenon. Special attention is paid to the preliminary joint test of the power supply and control equipment with thruster modules in order to justify the long-term operation of electrical rocket engines. In the analysis of the 15-year operation of the electrical rocket propulsion system the initial operation phase of the spacecraft is shown with the cruise mode of electrical rocket thruster modules for installation at operating points 49 and 90 EL with the corresponding operating time of all thruster modules. The final data on the operating time of thruster modules KA-201 for 10.5 and KA-202 – for 15 years of operation is presented that gives significant statistics on the use of engines СПД-70. The estimate of the remaining mass of the working fluid and the capability of further operation of the electrical rocket propulsion system is made. Domestic dogs have been central to life in the North American Arctic for millennia. The ancestors of the Inuit were the first to introduce the widespread usage of dog sledge transportation technology to the Americas, but whether the Inuit adopted local Palaeo-Inuit dogs or introduced a new dog population to the region remains unknown. To test these hypotheses, we generated mitochondrial DNA and geometric morphometric data of skull and dental elements from a total of 922 North American Arctic dogs and wolves spanning over 4500 years. Our analyses revealed that dogs from Inuit sites dating from 2000 BP possess morphological and genetic signatures that distinguish them from earlier Palaeo-Inuit dogs, and identified a novel mitochondrial clade in eastern Siberia and Alaska. The genetic legacy of these Inuit dogs survives today in modern Arctic sledge dogs despite phenotypic differences between archaeological and modern Arctic dogs. Together, our data reveal that Inuit dogs derive from a secondary pre-contact migration of dogs distinct from Palaeo-Inuit dogs, and probably aided the Inuit expansion across the North American Arctic beginning around 1000 BP.
