PCR-RFLP to Detect Codon 248 Mutation in Exon 7 of 'p53' Tumor Suppressor Gene

Individual genome DNA was extracted fast from oral swab and followed up with PCR specific for codon 248 of "p53" tumor suppressor gene. "Msp"I restriction mapping showed the G-C mutation in codon 248, which closely relates to cancer susceptibility.
