Abstract
- This paper reviews contemporary research literature in the area of online computer science education that has emanated from Australasia. First the literature is summarized, initially categorized by content as relating to course design, assessment, collaboration, teaching, and learning through online environments. On the basis of the themes and approaches to research that emerge from the literature, a framework for analysing online learning literature is proposed. This framework is then used to identify open areas in online computer science education research, allowing an agenda for future work to be derived. (Contains 1 table.)
