Abstract
- This article reviews the literature on the academic status of students with emotional and behavioral disabilities including student, placement, and assessment characteristics; functioning level of students; and trends in the research over the past four decades. Limitations of existing research are identified, such as incomplete reporting of student information and few studies assessing students served in general education settings. (Contains references.)
