Beyond Literacy: Education for Empowerment.

Develops an understanding of the literate learner who remains unreached in total literacy programs and campaigns initiated by the government of India. Examines the approaches used by the Kagad Kach Patra Kashtakari Panchayat (association of scrap waste pickers) to promote critical awareness and education among its members.
