Abstract
- A study of 82 preschoolers determined that a new play assessment (Child-Initiated Pretend Play Assessment), which identifies cognitive play skills, possessed acceptable interrater reliability and could discriminate between the play of typically developing preschoolers and those with preacademic problems.
