Abstract
- States that British Columbia's Career and Personal Planning curriculum commits two fundamental mistakes in its classification of employability skills by: incorrectly conflating distinct categories of concepts under the general rubric of generic skills; and categorizing attitudes, values, and dispositions as skills. Reveals how these category mistakes may prevent students from achieving program objectives, and circumvents critical moral considerations. (Contains 17 references.) (VWC)
