Abstract

Presents results from a study that uses questionnaires to ask mathematics teachers' (N=64) opinions about mathematics education computer software. Indicates that respondents overwhelmingly favored discovery and remediation as the purpose of using software in mathematics classrooms. Teachers believed that real world situations and multiple representations were the most important attributes of educational mathematics software. (Contains 11 references.) (Author)
