Abstract

This article recounts the founding of the Association for Persons with Severe Handicaps (TASH) in the context of the history of teaching children with severe disabilities. The role of the Pennsylvania Association for Retarded Children consent decree and the contributions of applied behavior analysis are stressed. (DB)
