Abstract
- Examined the attitudes of 3 administrators and 10 teachers toward teacher salaries at a community Head Start program, using feminist theories to explain teachers' and administrators' viewpoints. Found that low-income teachers were proactive in salary enhancement efforts, whereas middle-income teachers viewed salaries as supplemental family income. (MDM)
