Abstract

Notes that, although United States is experiencing resurgence of interest in spirituality, little work has been advanced that operationalizes definitions or descriptions of spirituality or discusses relationship between spirituality and religion. Notes absence of literature addressing how counselors may work with spiritual issues. Describes spirituality, discusses spirituality in relation to religion, and approaches spiritual issues in clinical setting. (Author/NB)
