Used data from child supplement to National Longitudinal Survey of Youth to examine whether father visitation or payment of child support were significantly associated with child well-being. Results indicated that there was limited evidence to support hypothesis that nonresident father involvement had positive benefits for children. Strongest evidence was for effect of child support in domain of academics. (Author/NB)
