MMPI and CPI Scores of Child Molesters before and after Incarceration-for-Treatment.

Administered Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and California Psychological Inventory (CPI) to convicted child molesters at incarceration and release from prison. Pre/postincarceration scores revealed significant decreases on 5 MMPI scales and significant increases on 11 CPI scales. Respondents were reporting themselves as more extraverted and interested in social relationships at release than at incarceration. (Author/NB)
