Abstract
- This article describes a middle level teacher preparation program, Teaching Early Adolescents in Middle Schools (TEAMS). This collaborative program provides field experiences that utilize mentors and interdisciplinary teams to help preservice teachers develop the instructional and interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with early adolescents.
