Abstract

Investigated effects of psychological sex role orientation and level of cognitive development on performance in mathematics in 18 male and 51 female undergraduates. Revealed significant effects for level of cognitive development and for masculine by feminine sex role orientation interaction. Results indicated lower mathematics performance for androgynous and undifferentiated subjects. (Author/NB)
