Abstract

The results of a nationwide study of developing relationships between industry and leading public comprehensive universities are highlighted. Eight kinds of programs included consulting, industry-funded research, government-funded research, personnel exchange, industrial liaison, consortia, jointly owned laboratory facilities, and industrial parks.
