Abstract
- Eugene D. Genovese, the new president of the Organization of American Historians, and the first Marxist to hold that post, is interviewed. Among the topics discussed are the Bertell Ollman incident at the University of Maryland, academic freedom and political discrimination on campus, campus activism, and Genovese's academic career.
