Abstract

Community health screening as a preceptorship experience is reported from the Department of Family Practice at the University of California-Davis. Second-year medical students improve their skills and knowledge in medical interviewing and screening physical examination, enhance school-community relationships, and learn the problems of a medically underserved community.
