Abstract

Britain is a multi-cultural society which now includes some 1 1/2 million people of Asian and Afro-caribbean origin, over 40 percent of whom were born in the U. K. This paper examines whether teacher training institutions have responded to this new situation and suggests as to how such training can be provided. (Editor)
