Abstract

Thousands of average students will be speeding up their educational progress in the years ahead as high schools and colleges find new ways for students to go through the educational system faster than ever before. Recognizing wasteful overlap in the last year or two of high school and the first year or two of college, schools are meshing these years together or eliminating them entirely -- to create time-shortened degree programs that suit today's student population.
