Abstract

After considering some of the influences within our society that are increasing the number and seriousness of group conflict, this article examines the nature of conflict and the role of conflict management in either promoting or reducing these divisive forces. This article also illustrates the use of conflict reduction as a form of conflict management in dealing with a conflictual situation. (Author)
