Abstract

As the demand for healthcare professionals increases, Latinos are increasing their representation in healthcare positions. Despite their increased representation, Latinos are more likely to be in healthcare support occupations rather than in healthcare management or professional occupation that offer higher salaries. "Excelencia" has analyzed national datasets to connect healthcare employers with institutions that are graduating and preparing Latinos for the workforce. This brief identifies the top institutions graduating Latinos (2019-2020) from certificates to the doctoral level in healthcare. These top 25 institutions are meeting the nation's economic needs by intentionally serving Latino students and producing Latino talent. This brief also highlights institutions and their intentional efforts to support post-completion success by providing educational credentials needed to support the current and future healthcare workforce.
