Abstract

This series of documents contains performance scoring information for 2004-2005 for individual institutions of higher education in South Carolina. This information is used in establishing 2005-2006 fiscal year allocations. Data includes: (1) Degrees Awarded; (2) Enrollment; (3) Average SAT score; (4) Faculty; (5) Tuition; and (6) Financial revenue. Evaluative scores are provided based on: (1) Mission Focus; (2) Quality of Faculty; (3) Classroom Quality; (4) Institutional Cooperation and Collaboration; (5) Administrative Efficiency; (6) Entrance Requirements; (7) Graduate Achievement; (8) User-Friendliness of the Institution; and (9) Research Funding. Scoring interpretation is provided. Based on a 3.0 maximum possible score, Francis Marion University scored 2.53 (84 percent), achieving standard performance level.
