Education Statistics Quarterly, Fall 2001.

The publication gives a comprehensive overview of work done across all parts of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Each issue contains short publications, summaries, and descriptions that cover all NCES publications, data products, and funding opportunities developed over a 3-month period. Each issue also contains a message from the NCES on a timely topic and a featured topic with invited commentary. This issue's featured topic is "NAEP 2000 Mathematics Assessment," and contains the first two articles: (1) "The Nation's Report Card: Mathematics 2000" (James S. Braswell, Anthony D.
