Abstract

This document summarizes and presents materials produced during a qualitative international study of the role of transformative learning in achieving sustainable societies and global responsibility that included the following activities: case studies of experiences with transformative learning in seven countries; international survey and workshop; and establishment of an electronic computer-based network for administration of the project. The document begins with an overview of the project's objectives, methodology, and findings. Concluding the document are a 28-item reference list, a 99-item annotated bibliography, and the proceedings of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) workshop. (MN)
