Entitled "Man and His Symbols," the guide is organized in five parts: (1) Approaching the Unconscious; (2) Ancient Myths and Modern Man; (3) The Process of Individuation; (4) Symbolism in the Visual Arts; and (5) Symbols in An Individual Analysis. Each part is organized in the following format: introduction; instructional objectives; required activities; pre-test; questions for review; extra reading, research, and projects; for discussion and evaluation; and an insight and a reaction.
