Abstract

This pamphlet, targeted to boys, discusses issues surrounding puberty. Physical changes that happen during puberty for girls and boys are listed. Books for boys on puberty are listed. Methods of obtaining these books are described, including purchasing them from a bookstore, taking them out of a library, and ordering them from a publisher. Suggestions are provided for how boys can talk to their parents about puberty. Suggestions range from thinking about picking a good time and place to talk to writing as an alternative to talking to parents. Specific information about menstruation is provided. Topics covered include timing and duration of menstruation and girls' and boys' reactions to menstruation. (ABL)
