Abstract

This three-volume set of student texts is intended for use in an extension course to prepare Air Force graphics specialists. The first volume deals with basic equipment, materials, lettering, and drafting (including geometric and graphic construction). Addressed in the second volume are composition and layout techniques and the fundamentals of drawing the human form, cartoons and caricatures, and landscapes and seascapes. The third volume, which deals with visual communications, covers projectual design, printed materials, and special techniques. Each volume includes instructional text, exercises, answers to the exercises, and a bibliography. Volume review exercises and a change supplement for the package are also included. (MN)
