Chapter 2 Formula. 1983-84 Final Technical Report.

In 1982-83, the Austin (TX) Independent School District chose to use its Chapter 2-Formula funds for two sets of activities: bus monitors and extracurricular transportation for desegregation purposes. This report summarizes the evaluation findings for these two activities, as well as what happened to programs funded under the Emergency School Aid Act in 1981-82. The appendices contain detailed information concerning the evaluation: (1) director-administrator interviews, (2) activity resources instrument, (3) parent survey, (4) bus driver interview, (5) bus monitor interview, (6) base supervisor interview, (7) bus monitor observation narratives, (8) administrator survey for the bus monitor activity evaluation, (9) teacher survey for the bus monitor activity evaluation, (10) administrator survey concerning the extracurricular transportation activity, (11) campus extracurricular transportation coordinator interview, and (12) dispatcher survey for the extracurricular transportation evaluation.
