- This publication, designed for a worldwide readership, contains articles, notes, and book reviews pertaining to educational theories and practices. While the body of the articles are in English, overviews are given in German and French. French and German books are reviewed in their native language; English and other language books are reviewed in English. Topics include: (1) equal education in South Africa; (2) preschool teacher training programs in problem solving; (3) student motivation and academic achievement; (4) a successful secondary school system in the Philippines; (5) educational revolution in Tanzania; (6) television viewing and violence; and (7) power and ideology in education.
