Abstract
- This, the third annual yearbook on higher education law, provides a comprehensive summary and analysis of all state and federal court cases involving higher education reported during 1978. The chapters have been authored by individuals who are experts in higher education law and specialists in the particular topics of their chapter. The chapters are devoted to the following topics: governance and finance, property, liability, employees, collective bargaining, and students. The two largest chapters are those on employees and students. The employees chapter discusses such topics as employment, equal pay, employment discrimination, and retirement benefits, while the chapter on students examines freedom of expression, due process, publications, organizations, student fees, tuition, admissions, resident housing, academic affairs, financial aid, athletics, and related topics.
