Abstract
- Transcripts from a four-part National Public Radio "Options in Education" series are presented in this publication. The first program examines student cheating at colleges. Students and faculty discuss methods of cheating, reasons for cheating, student attitudes toward cheating, specific instances of cheating, and provide insights into why students cheat. Black colleges are the subject of the second program. The role of the Black college in American higher education is discussed by students, government representatives, and college administrators. The third program presents a discussion of college marketing. Several consultants and others in the field of education discuss the reasons why college marketing is becoming necessary. Examples of college advertisements are included. The subject of the fourth program is co-education. The role of women and women's rights on campus, the trend away from single sex colleges, and the segregated clubs still found on college campuses are discussed. (SF)
