Abstract

Hearings before the House Subcommittee on Health and the Environment on biomedical research and research training authorities that expire on September 30, 1978 are presented. H.R. 10908 is a bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to revise and extend the programs of assistance for libraries of medicine and the programs of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and the National Cancer Institute, and to revise and extend the program for national research service awards, and for other purposes. H.R. 10062 is a bill to amend Title V of the Public Health Service Act to provide for cancer research awards. H.R. 10190 is a bill to amend Title IV of the Public Health Service Act to provide for an expanded research program for the prevention of environmental and occupational cancer, and for other purposes.
