Abstract

Twenty-two field-tested instructional units were developed for use in adult and young farmer education by 20 specially trained agriculture teachers in Ohio. The resource units were developed in the following agriculture areas of instruction: corn and soybean production, agriculture mechanics, swine production, farm management, and horticulture. Each unit is presented with topic outlines, illustrations, and descriptions. Subjects discussed within each unit include the following areas: State situation, local situation, objectives, references, needed audiovisual equipment, interest approaches, questions to be answered, learning activities, to summarize (note to teacher), applications, and appended materials on content summary and instructional materials.
