A Public School Voucher Demonstration: The First Year at Alum Rock. Technical Appendix.

The Education Voucher Demonstration is a large-scale educational and social intervention that began in the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District, San Jose, California, in September 1972. First funded by the Office of Economic Opportunity, it is now sponsored by the National Institute of Education. This technical appendix is the third of four Rand reports that describe and analyze the workings of an education voucher demonstration during its first year (academic year 1972-73). The appendixes in this volume contain additional technical material related to the contents of the main volume of the series and are numbered to correspond with the section numbers of that report.
