Abstract

This document reviews the Senior Medical Consultant Program; a program designed to utilize recently or near-retired medical school faculty members in a continuing medical education program. Evaluation of the program by physician teachers, physicians attending the sessions, both attending staff and house staff, and by physicians scheduling the teaching session was based on written reports, interviews, and observations of teaching sessions. Results indicated the success of the program, which received enthusiatic response from all medical groups contacted. (MJM)
