Status of Puerto Rico, Selected Background Studies.

This extensive volume contains separate studies on the politics, government, education, labor, migration, and culture of Puerto Rico. It also includes reports on the contemporary Federal-regional relationship in Puerto Rico and on Puerto Rico's relationship with the United States. One study deals with the Dutch, French, and British areas of the Caribbean. There is also an inventory which lists (1) the agencies of the United States Government with offices in Puerto Rico and (2) the departments of the Executive Branch of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
