Integrating the Academic Cultural Heritage at Uppsala University : Using University Collections in Teachings, Exhibitions, and Digital Presentations

This article is based on a presentation at the Coimbra Heritage Meeting, held in Coimbra 7–8 November 2019. It concerns the different roles of the Gustavianum, the Uppsala University Museum, and discusses the various missions of the museum – to make the collections available as a resource for research and education, and at the same time serve as a public museum. It also discusses the use of digital media and the production of travelling exhibitions as a means to achieve these goals.
