Estudio Hemerográfico sobre La Calidad Educativa en la Investigación Científica

This paper presents the results of a critical analysis of the research carried out based on educational quality between 2015 and 2020 at the global and Latin American level to determine its scientificity, from where the subject is currently being researched, what is being researched and what are the contributions that these investigations provide to science. To this end, a database was designed from 500 research articles, from which the quantitative analysis was carried out to determine the contributions of each of the articles, and to carry out the analysis, which is synthesized in tables. This analysis was based on the theoretical support of science that critical theory proposes. The main findings obtained were: The scientificity of the analyzed articles was represented in only 3.25%, thus demonstrating that the research basically focuses on classificatory or descriptive processes; Research is conducted as a standardized process and not as a way to generate knowledge about the center of interest; Methodological rigor, numerical analysis, interpretation of data and graphs predominate in the articles analyzed, setting aside reflection and denoting the influence of positivism in traditional research.
En este trabajo se presentan los resultados de un análisis crítico sobre las investigaciones realizadas en base a la calidad educativa entre los años 2015 y 2020 a nivel mundial y latinoamericano para determinar su cientificidad, desde dónde se investiga actualmente el tema, qué se investiga y cuáles son los aportes que brindan estas investigaciones a la ciencia. Para ello se diseñó una base de datos a partir de 500 artículos de investigación, desde donde se hizo el análisis cuantitativo que permitió determinar las aportaciones de cada uno de los artículos, y llevar a cabo el análisis, que se encuentra sintetizado en unas tablas. Este análisis se dio a partir del sustento teórico que sobre la ciencia plantea la teoría crítica. Los principales hallazgos obtenidos fueron: La cientificidad de los artículos analizados quedó representada en solo un 3.25%, demostrándose así que las investigaciones básicamente se centran en procesos clasificatorios o descriptivos; la investigación se realiza como un proceso estandarizado y no como una forma de generar conocimiento sobre el centro de interés; predomina el rigor metodológico, análisis numérico, interpretación de datos y gráficos en los artículos analizados, apartando la reflexión y denotando la influencia del positivismo en la investigación tradicional.
