The right to social security and social assistance in the 'case law' and conclusions of the Social Rights Committee

This chapter discusses Article 13 ESC on the right to social assistance. The authors focus specifically on situations where people lose their minimum benefits or are being denied access to a social benefit because they do not comply with conditions related to the acceptance of a job or training offer and on situations where people lack (the right) residence status.
