2018-2022 Women in the Workforce : United States (Updated February 2024)

Utah women account for more than 40 percent of the Utah labor force. Many are surprised to learn that a higher percentage of Utah women participate in the labor force than the national average. This data is extracted from the American Community Survey, which is conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. In order to provide comparative data for the state and small counties, five year averages are displayed. Data for less-populated areas should be used with caution due to large margins of error.
