Los derechos políticos de las personas transgénero en Costa Rica en el marco del Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos

The article presents a study on whether the regulatory and jurisprudential provisions of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal that affect the political rights of transgender people comply with inter-American Human Rights standards. Likewise, it addresses the path that the Supreme Electoral Tribunal should have taken when making the corresponding decisions on the matter
Se analiza si las disposiciones reglamentarias y jurisprudenciales del Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones que afectan los derechos políticos de las personas transgénero cumplen con los estándares interamericanos de derechos humanos. Asimismo, se sugiere el camino que debió seguir el Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones a la hora de tomar las decisiones correspondientes en la materia
