SUMMIT Cruise, RV García del Cid

The SUMMIT campaign consists of comparing three stations in the Catalan-Balearic Sea: station D in deep waters in the middle of the basin, on the way to the Menorca Canal, where shallow CTD sets will be made (200 m); station E in deep waters but somewhat more productive to the NE, where the same CTD sets will be made; and station S in platform waters near Blanes, with similar routines. Most of the tasks will consist of experiments on deck, especially in incubation tanks bathed with surface water
