IPick: creating awareness and involvement: design as a tool to decrease pollution at Barceloneta beach

The main goal of the project was to design a social innovation and imply it to Barceloneta beach area to decrease the amount of trash and plastic left at the costline. In the process of research the idea of “IPick” platform was created. It is a mobile application that allows the users exchange their trash to the free experiences: cultural and social events. The project itself is considered to be sustainable. Not only does it mean that no more waste is gonna be created, it will also have a source of financial support from the partner organisations to keep the process going on and extend. At the end of research the naming and logo for the project were developed, main slogans and strategis of the promotional campaign and its design was applied to Barceloneta beach.
