Abstract

Autoponics is an automated hydroponic monitoring system that utilizes sensors such as pH, electrical conductivity, and water level sensors, along with a TFT-enabled LCD screen and a ESP32 microcontroller to make hydroponic farming accessible and scalable. It accurately outputs relevant metrics and can automatically adjust pH and nutrient solutions based on current readings from the system. Autoponics promotes sustainability and aims to spread hydroponic farming into households by breaking down the barriers to entry. Testing shows that the system performs well and accurately balances the system, while using under 10 watts of power.
